observing the laws and regulations of Islam. He fasted during the month of Ramadan and prayed five times a day.
After his graduation from high school, Safa moved to the United States to attend college in New Orleans.
While there, however, the revolution of the Ayatollah Khomeini took place in Iran. As a devout Muslim, Safa decided to return to Iran to support the revolution.
